Review by hotel critic
Stepping into Villa Paradise, nestled amidst the sprawling tea estates, was like entering a haven far removed from the everyday hustle of my own tea plantation. the warm ambiance of the colonial bungalow embraced me, setting the tone for a gourmet getaway that exceeded all expectations. While the hotel itself exuded charm, it was the culinary experience that truly stole the show. As a tea enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a breakfast spread that featured a lovely assortment of teas, evoking a sense of Sri Lanka's tea culture. the dining area, with its comfortable chairs for six, provided the perfect setting for savoring each sip. Amidst the plethora of nearby restaurants and coffee bars, the hotel's own restaurant stood out for its innovative dishes. I found myself indulging in a delightful plate of Rice & Curry, a quintessential Sri Lankan favorite, perfectly complemented by a steaming cup of tea. This culinary journey was a testament to the hotel's dedication to delivering an authentic and memorable dining experience. Villa Paradise truly encapsulates the essence of a gourmet retreat, where every bite tells a story of Sri Lanka's rich culinary heritage, subtly intertwining with the lush landscapes that surround it. it's an immersive journey into the heart of Sri Lanka's tea country, where every flavor and fragrance whispers tales of tradition and elegance.
